They first found classmates that could answer the questions in their handout and sign it. Then, they worked in groups taking turns to read and say to their groups several parts of a story posted on the walls around the classroom. They then had to work together to put the story in order, translate it into English and come up with an ending for the story. Then, we reviewed the vocabulary as a class, recognizing cognates, false cognates, reflexive verbs and the verb like gustar "doler". We watched Subject Pronoun Paradise and Conjugations Back and fill out a Verb Chart with the regular verbs endings and some of the most commonly used irregular verbs. Students then worked with their peers finding the meanings of the list of 100 verbs we should know.
